Training Course in Turkey
Every year millions of people die from wrong interventions. The reason is that most people do not have enough knowledge about what they should do in an emergency situation. Sometimes a piece of first aid knowledge can save a person's life. According to the report published by Turkish Health Ministry in 2011, the first 5 minutes is 5 times more important than the rest minutes for the wounded victim to survive him or her.

The training was based on non-formal education techniques. Within this project, the participants got knowledge on how can a person intervene the following situations;
* Drowning in a Lake or Sea,
* Traffic Accidents,
* Fire,
* Physical Injuries,
* Twists and Fractures,
* Burns,
* Bleedings,
* Cognition Disorders,
* Poisoning,
* Obstruction of the Airway,
* Beaten by Insects,
* Lost İn A Mountain or Forest,
* Earthquakes,
* Heart Attacks etc.
In order to fulfil the activities foreseen following non-formal education, techniques were used.
• Name games,
• Icebreakers,
• Workshops,
• Group work,
• Group discussions and C,
• Competitions,
• Visual presentations,
• Drama,
• Cultural Night.

Youth workers, young people, youth leaders, decision makers and representatives from different NGOs in EU are our target groups.
