Training Course in Turkey
Every year millions of people die from wrong interventions. The reason is that most people do not have enough knowledge about what they should do in an emergency situation. Sometimes a piece of first aid knowledge can save a person's life. According to the report published by Turkish Health Ministry in 2011, the first 5 minutes is 5 times more important than the rest minutes for the wounded victim to survive him or her. With this project, we aimed to come together with young people from different parts of Europe to share the information about first aid techniques for emergencies and also learn different intervention techniques. The project was implemented in Aksaray city in Turkey. The activities of the project were between 17-25 July 2016. The activity was a training course and it lasted 7 days. 29 youth workers came from 6 countries (Turkey, Estonia, Bulgaria, Malta, Lithuania and Romania).
