Noortevahetus "(Re) Cycling for Nature" Leedus

Oktoobri lõpus 21.10-28.10.2019 toimus Leedus Klaipedas noortevahetus teemal “(RE) CYCLING FOR NATURE”. Noori kogunes erinevatest riikidest nagu: Eesti, Läti, Leedu, Bulgaaria, Hispaania ning Kreeka. Kokku oli meid seal 30-pealine punt.   Projekti eesmärk oli edendada noorte tervislikke eluviise läbi jalgrattasõidu, tunnustada kohalikku kultuuri ja loodust ning käsitleda problemaatilisi keskkonna küsimusi seoses Läänemere piirkonnaga.  Kuidas tegelikult läks? Nii noortevahetuse infopakk kui ka programmi ajakava olid põhjalikud ning tõotasid sisukat, harivat ning väga asjalikku nädalat, kuid tegelik tulemus valmistas pea kõigile pettumuse. Programm kui selline oli ausalt öeldes sisuliselt olematu. Eeldati, et tuleb nädal täis uute teadmiste omandamist, sisukaid tegevusi ning jalgratta harjutusi ja sõitu. Noortevahetus "Encourage yourself" Leedus

Youth exchange took place in vacation resort near small town Merkine from 10th to 19th April. The topic was overcoming fears and encouraging yourself and other people. Lithuania, UK, France, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Estonia and Turkey sent 6 participants + 1 group leader. Program was directed by Turkish man Dijadin and executed by country teams, support for local practicalities was given by Lithuanian organisation WeGo.  The culture nights we're really awesome. I liked that people put much work into representing their own country and culture. The nights always ended up dancing and having a blast. I learned so much in such a short time. It was an amazing experience.  The location where we stayed at was in the middle of the forest and the place was really pretty and nice. This property was big and there was a sauna and pool.
